I have totally been slacking on my blogging as of late. And I am terribly sorry. I promise to add a new part to A Special Someone this Wednesday. I need to get working on that anyway.
Well, I have been home for a week and three days now. It feels like I have been home forever. I already miss my roommate terribly though. Karlie if you are reading this... I LOVE YOU! I hope that you can come to Cassidi's reception so that I can see you soon!
Since I got home I have mostly just been working a lot. I have been lucky enough to get my position back in the kitchen at ScenicView. I also get to work concessions at the soccer complex, and help my mom do data entry at ScenicView. Yay for money!
Now onto my title. Bumps first.
My very first day back in the kitchen they asked me to clean the vents above the fryer and griddle. It's not like it was hard work or anything, but I put on these elbow length rubber gloves. I forgot what had happened last summer when I used these gloves to clean in. But, I remembered the next day. I woke up to find that I had itchy red bumps all over my arms. They don't bother me too much...but they are so icky gross looking. I just look diseased....and last summer they didn't go away for like two weeks. Not happy about that.
Boys. Quick and simple. He isn't coming back. Not sure how I feel about that.
Brazil. Today, I had the opportunity to go to my friends farewell. He is headed to the Brazil MTC in 19 days. I have known Michael for a couple years now, and honestly I am better friends with his little brother Bryan, but Michael and I have grown closer lately. Fall semester he was attending Dixie State while I was at SUU. Sometimes he would come up to Cedar to see some of his friends and he would come visit me. One time he told me that he wasn't planning on a mission. Honestly, it's whatever, to each his own, right? So I was surprised to find out that he had turned in his papers, but I was so excited. And of course he got called to Brazil (his dad is from Brazil). He did great on his farewell talk today, and afterwards there were tons of people at the Lacerda house. They fed us some wonderful brazilian food and I was glad to be able to talk to Michael for a few minutes. He is going to be a wonderful missionary!
Speaking of missionaries, I have two letters that I have been meaning to write. I received their letters about three weeks ago. Right as I was starting to pack and study and it's just been to hectic to write two whole letters. But, now I have time! (Have I told you that I write really long letters?) I should go do that now.
I promise to have a post up on Wednesday!

Letters & packages from missionaries are the best! I'm sure they'll be happy to get a letter from you! :]
