First off, I wanted to tell you a short story (that was weird, I was writing story and short just happened so I realized that my brain really wanted to say short story instead just story...weird).
So once upon a time, I was ten years old and I wanted my ears pierced. My mom took me to Claire's and I picked out little cubic zirconium studs. My mom held my hand and next thing I knew I had holes in my ears. I washed them and twisted them and did everything I needed to, so that they didn't get infected or anything. Finally six weeks goes by and I can change them out. I decide to put in some red cubic zirconium ones that are like 3 times bigger than what I had in. The next week I got sick. I didn't think about it and instead of having huge earrings in while I was in bed for two days, I took them out. When I recovered from my illness, the back of my ears had closed up. My older sister tried to re pierce my ears, but it hurt so much that I wanted nothing to do with it. I stopped wearing earrings and just let them close up. I have always been able to feel where they used to be though.

Yesterday I went to Wally World with some friends to buy "Friendship Rings" (we're dorks, but its a cute ring).

So as we are walking over to the jewelry section, a little girl is getting her ears pierced. I was like "I didn't know Wal Mart did ear piercing. So after we find our rings, we are just looking at all the jewelry and I point out some cute earrings, too bad my ears weren't pierced. My friends were like "What?!" Haha apparently I wear my hair down so much no one knew my ears weren't pierced. Breanna says "Well, why don't you pierce them right now?" So I look at the piercing earrings they have. I decide I really like these little gold peace sign ones (of course.) So the lady gets ready, pulls out the box with my earrings and has me sign a paper and sit down. I am freaking out by now. She sees where I had already had them pierced and puts a little dot on each ear. Then she says "You'll feel a little pinch." The first ear is done and I hear the lady let out a gasp. My first thought is that she missed and has like sliced open my ear or something. But then she says "Those aren't peace signs." Somehow the box was mismarked and instead of peace signs I had a little black ball in my ear. She asks if I want her to get the peace signs and redo it. I say yes. So she looks and it appears they are out of the peace sign ones. She thinks about it, then says "How about I do the other one, then I won't charge you. And if you want you can come in some other time and get the peace sign ones." Free earrings and piercing? I say Heck YES!

| My web cam sucks, but you can kind of see the little ball in my ear now! |
